As part of the Environmental Impact Assessment procedure, a Preliminary Information Meeting (PIM) was held on June 30, 2025, for the general public.
This meeting provided an opportunity to present the Hautrage Biogas Project, led by the Copenhagen Infrastructures Partners Group, the first project to benefit from Fast Track status in Wallonia. Located in Hautrage (Saint-Ghislain), the biomethanization unit aims to transform agricultural effluents and organic residues into renewable energy.

This meeting made it possible to:
- inform citizens about the objectives, location, and potential impacts of the project,
- gather feedback and suggestions from the public,
- identify key points to be addressed in the environmental impact study.
